The mission of our Adult Active Fitness Program is, “to provide the highest level of training methods, which utilize scientifically proven principles, are goal-driven, and cater to each specific client’s needs to perform at their very best in every area of their life.”

A Movement-First Approach

At Club Med Academies, our Performance Specialists believe in a “Movement-First” Approach. This means that any fitness class or training session that you take will focus on the quality and efficiency of the movement patterns that you, as a person, go through in your daily life. There are 7 essential functional movement patterns that our Adult Fitness Programs are committed to improve. These include:

  1. Squat
  2. Bend
  3. Lunge
  4. Rotation
  5. Push
  6. Pull
  7. Gait (Walking/Running)

No matter your age, profession, skill level, or favorite hobby/activity may be, these 7 movement patterns come into play every single day—and improving the efficiency of these patterns will allow you to perform at the highest level in every aspect of your life.

Fitness Classes

As a part of our efforts to cater to everyone’s needs, we offer a variety of fitness classes that are included in the “All-Inclusive” experience at Club Med Sandpiper Bay. These classes are: Boot Camp, Spin Fusion, Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, Aqua Gym, & Power Walk. Please check the “My Club Med” app for the days and times that classes are offered.

Boot Camp

In addition to our regular Adult Fitness Program classes, we are pleased to offer an exclusive class called “BOOTCAMP 360.” BOOTCAMP 360 offers you a 360-degree approach to your training, giving you a glimpse of what it is like to train like a professional athlete, but at a level that is appropriate for you. This class sets itself apart from all of the other classes offered at CMA because it challenges your fitness level by demanding a high intensity and strong athletic skill base. BOOTCAMP 360 is only offered on 1 day throughout each week and only has room for the first 30 people to sign up, so make sure you visit the Tennis and Golf Pro Shops, Fitness Center, or Reception to check what day and time the class will be offered during your visit!

Personal Training

Do you want to make our Adult Active Performance Programs more individualized and specific to your own goals? What about speeding up the process and cutting down the time to achieving those goals? If so, then our Personal Training Packages are for you! With over 20 years of training experience, our team of Sports Performance Specialists is waiting to assist you in dominating the next phase of your personal fitness journey. 1 hour and half hour private lessons can be purchased individually or at a discounted rate when paired with multiple sessions. Small group lessons are also available with our Fitness Active Packages, which includes 2 hours of training for 2-4 people.
